Instagram & Facebook's in-app browser can track you on any website

According to privacy researcher Felix Krause, Facebook and Instagram in-app browsers track users' web activities after clicking links in their apps. Krause claims the two companies can "monitor all user interactions, like every button & link tapped, text selections, screenshots, as well as any form inputs, like passwords, addresses and credit card numbers." Meta responded by stating that it "intentionally developed this code to honour people's [Ask to track] choices on our platforms."
