UK AI Safety Institute launches Systemic AI Safety Grants initiative

The UK AI Safety Institute (AISI) has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) safety research initiative aimed at enhancing resilience against deepfakes, misinformation, cyber-attacks, and other AI-related threats. The Systemic Safety Grants Programme, which is being administered in collaboration with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) and Innovate UK, will allocate approximately 20 projects with grants of up to £200,000.
