Cloudflare has announced that it is expanding its Cryptographic Attestation of Personhood (CAP) programme to include biometric authenticators. CAP will now be supported with various mobile ID methods, including Apple's Face ID, Microsoft Hello and Android Biometric Authentication. However, Cloudflare was keen to stress that users' privacy remains the focus, reiterating its commitment to not storing data. "We simply never see it, at all," the company said. "All of your sensitive biometric data is processed on your device."
