DCRF releases 2022/23 strategic plan to promote privacy

The Digital Regulation Cooperation Forum has published its plans for the year ahead. The DRCF workplan outlines the strategic areas of focus for the 2022/23 year, which include protecting children's privacy and online safety, promoting competition and privacy in online advertising, and algorithmic transparency. DRCF Chief Executive Gill Whitehead said the group's cooperative work is "significant" and that it intends to "make an important contribution to the UK's digital landscape to the benefit of people and businesses online."

The ICO commented on a year of regulator collaboration with the CMA, Ofcom and FCA in the DRCF on its ICO in the media page, following Gill Whitehead's first interview with the Financial Times (£).
