DPC discusses right of access responsibilities under EU GDPR

In a blog article, the Irish Data Protection Commission (DPC) discusses the rights of data subjects and explains how the regulator processes complaints relating to requests for access to personal data under Article 15 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The DPC also clarified that any restrictions to the right of access "must be justified on an evidential basis, by reference to the specific context of the case concerned."
