German Court rules on scope of GDPR Article 15 right of access

DLA Piper reports on a legal dispute that the German Federal Labor Court is about to rule relating to the scope of the right to information under Article 15 GDPR. The issue surrounds the extent Article 15 grants a right to receive copies of emails. While a decision on the merits was not issued, the result will likely provide an important guide for dealing with information claims and may yet result in a rethink.
