EDPB Chair Andrea Jelinek said the proposed framework and the "commitment of the US highest authorities to establish 'unprecedented' measures" is "a positive first step." Jelinek said the EDPB will conduct a review of the agreement to ensure "legal certainty" and examine how the agreement "translates into concrete legal proposals to address the concerns raised by the Court of Justice of the European Union."
