EDPB ChatGPT Taskforce publishes first report

In April, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) established a taskforce to collaborate on and monitor how OpenAI's ChatGPT complies with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). On Friday, the board published its first report on the work undertaken by the taskforce. 

The report addresses various areas, including the lawfulness of collecting and processing training data, fairness, transparency, data accuracy, and data subject rights.
