During this month's plenary session, the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) introduced six candidates for its upcoming chair and deputy chair positions.
For the position of EDPB Chair, the EDPB presented three candidates:
- Ventsislav Karadjov (Bulgarian DPA)
- Anu Talus (Finnish DPA)
- Aleid Wolfsen (Dutch DPA)
A further three candidates were presented for the Deputy Chair position:
- Irene Loizidou Nikolaidou (Cypriot DPA)
- Jekaterina Macuka (Latvian DPA)
- Zdravko Vukić (Croatian DPA)
The elections are scheduled to take place during the May plenary session through a secret ballot.
