The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has adopted an opinion on the EuroPrise certification scheme for processors submitted by the German DPA of North Rhine Westphalia. It is the view of the EDPB that the EuroPriSe certification criteria in its current form could lead to an inconsistent application of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and has therefore recommended a series of changes before it fulfils the requirements under Article 42 of the GDPR.
