EDPB publishes one-stop-shop GDPR guide

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has published a comprehensive one-stop-shop guide relating to cases concerning Article 32, Security of Processing and Articles 33-34, Data Breach Notification of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The case digest provides useful insights into how data protection authorities (DPAs) have interpreted and applied GDPR provisions in various situations, including hacking, ransomware attacks, and accidental data disclosure. The summary and analysis of these decisions can help controllers and processors in assessing the adequacy of their security measures before and after a data breach.
