EDPB publishes statistics on resources available to EEA DPAs

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has published statistics on financial and physical resources that data protection authorities (DPAs) in the European Economic Area (EEA) are provided by their member states. The statistics included values for the years 2020 to 2022 for comparison and were broken down by financial and human resources. According to the report, 77% of the 30 DPAs reported that they did not have a sufficient budget, and 87% reported they did not have enough human resources.
