EDPB to discuss CJEU decisions on WhatsApp and Instagram

The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has released the agenda for its plenary session scheduled on 13-14 December. The EDPB will discuss the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) General Court's decisions concerning the EDPB's binding decisions against Meta Platforms' WhatsApp and Instagram. The General Court recently rejected WhatsApp Ireland's request to annul the EDPB's binding decision that led to a €225m EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) fine.
