The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has adopted three letters, strengthening a number of areas from previous data protection guidance issued in the fight against the COVID-19 outbreak.
Adopted documents:
- Responding to a letter from the US, the EDPB looks into transfers of health data for research purposes, enabling international cooperation for the development of a vaccine.
- The EDPB adopts its response to a request from MEPs Lucia Ďuriš Nicholsonová and Eugen Jurzyca.
- The EDPB also received two letters from Sophie In 't Veld MEP, about technologies in development to fight COVID-19.
