UPDATE: EDPB adopts 2021–2023 Strategy during 43rd plenary session

The European Data Protection Board adopted its 2021–2023 Strategy during its 43rd plenary session. The EDPBs strategic objectives for the upcoming years centre around four main pillars, including the advancement of harmonisation and facilitating compliance, as well as supporting effective enforcement and cooperation between national supervisory authorities. The EDPB also issued a statement on the end of the Brexit transition period and adopted guidelines on the restriction of data subject rights under Article 23 of the GDPR.
