The European Data Protection Supervisor has published its opinion on the Trade and Cooperation Agreement and the agreement on security procedures for exchanging and protecting classified information between the EU and UK. The EDPS welcomed the agreements as it expects the two sides to continue working together in the future. However, it also noted the TCA did not properly address the EU's "horizontal provisions for cross-border data flows and for personal data protection."
