The Office of the European Data Protection Supervisor has published a report on processing activities and new technology adopted by EU institutions to maintain steady business operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. The report looked at standard processing operations, processing activities related to public health and technology to enable remote work. EDPS also reviewed these new practices for compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. "This report enables the EDPS to provide further guidance to EUIs with regard to data protection aspects that deserve closer consideration," EDPS Wojciech Wiewiórowski said.
