EDPS publishes model for personal data transfers between EU institutions

On Wednesday, 31 July 2024, the European Data Protection Supervisor (EDPS) published details of a new Model Administrative Arrangement for transfers of personal data from  EU Institutions, bodies, offices, agencies (EUIs) and international organisations under Regulation (EU) 2018/1725 (EUDPR). 

The model "places emphasis on data protection's core principles and puts in place the necessary safeguards, as a way to ensure a level of protection essentially equivalent to that guaranteed by EU legislation."
