The European Commission has announced a provisional agreement with the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union to move forward with the EU Data Governance Act. The proposed legislation creates a framework to help companies or individuals share data securely. European Commission Executive Vice President Margrethe Vestager called the DGA "a first building block for establishing a solid and fair data-driven economy."
