EDPS addresses GDPR enforcement review proposal

European Data Protection Supervisor Wojciech Wiewiórowski discussed his proposal for a June 2022 review on the effectiveness of EU GDPR enforcement in a podcast with EURACTIV. Mr Wiewiórowski said, "we aren't sure that we want to change GDPR," noting the year ahead may be "a good time to look at the future and what our forecast should be in the prospect of five years and ten years." Wiewiórowski also touched on GDPR one-stop-shop, EU-US Privacy Shield replacement and e-Privacy Regulation negotiations.
