A European Commission committee is seeking to determine the definition of "significant" cybersecurity incidents under the NIS2 Directive. In the absence of national laws providing clarity on compliance steps, implementing acts offer crucial guidance. The news comes as several member states face delays in transposing NIS2 into national law, with only a few countries having completed the process. According to EURACTIV, the Commission is not expected to grant an extension.
