The Council of the European Union is moving forwards in its efforts to reach an agreement on the proposed European Health Data Space. The council's Working Party on Public Health has agreed on some amendments to Chapter IV of the European Commission's thorny proposals about the secondary use of data. These include withholding data for public security and national security. Member states have also proposed new criteria to allow or limit access to health data.
