EU Digital Services Act negotiations hit stumbling block

European Parliament has rejected the Council of the European Union's latest consolidated text for the proposed Digital Services Act. Following April's announcement that the EU Parliament and council had reached a provisional agreement on the DSA, differences have arisen around the provisions and language for content monitoring. The differences could still be reconciled later, or the French presidency of the council could leave negotiations to the incoming Czech Republic beginning in July.
