MEPs publish compromise amendments to AI Act

The European Parliament's Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection has released their first set of amendments for the EU's proposed Artificial Intelligence Act. The committees had received in excess of 3,000 amendments. The proposed compromises represent the co-rapporteurs thoughts on areas, including removing provisions on conformity assessment procedure exemptions and other amendments concerning the administrative process.
