Digital Markets Act Q&A, Silicon Valley office

The European Commission has published an FAQ document outlining key aspects of the Digital Markets Act. The FAQs discuss applicability, obligations, investigation and enforcement procedures, along with a section covering the required user rights platforms must offer under the law and what activities and practices are banned, including certain data uses and user tracking.

In related news, Politico reports the EU is planning to open an office in San Francisco in order to work with and help technology companies comply with the DMA and DSA.
