The European Commission has asked the operators of three adult websites to provide further detailed information under the Digital Services Regulation (DSA) on the measures they have taken to assess and mitigate risks related to the protection of minors online and prevent the amplification of illegal content and gender-based violence. The operators of Pornhub, Stripchat, and XVIideos are required to provide the requested information before 4 July 2024. The Commission has indicated that a failure to do so may result in fines for providing incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information.
