The European Commission has published a series of questions and answers into why it is strengthening the security requirements for wireless devices. The information covers the overall aims and objectives, which include making networks more resilient, improving the protection of personal data, and reducing the risk of fraud. The FAQs also cover what device categories will be covered and how they expect manufacturers to comply with the legislation.
