EU Commission publishes Q&A on SCCs for data transfers

The European Commission has published a Q&A for their standard contractual clauses (SCCs) for international data transfers under the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The Q&A provides practical guidance on using the new SCCs and assists stakeholders in compliance efforts, which will replace the existing version on 27 December. The Commission said that the document is "intended to be a 'dynamic' source of information and will be updated as new questions arise."
