EU to hold General-Purpose AI Code of Practice plenary on 30 Sept

On Friday, 6 September 2024, the European Commission announced that it would commence drafting the General-Purpose AI Code of Practice under the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) on 30 September. 

The AI Office received expressions of interest from almost 1000 organisations and individuals about taking part in the first plenary session.
