European Commission to open office to promote trustworthy AI use

The European Commission has confirmed that it is preparing to open a European AI Office. The new office will be the centre of artificial intelligence (AI) expertise across the EU. It will play a key role in implementing the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act), particularly in relation to general-purpose AI. It aims to promote the development and use of trustworthy AI and international cooperation.
