European Commission urges preparation before end of Brexit transition

In a communication published last week, the European Commission highlights the main areas of readiness citizens and businesses should make preparations for ahead of the UK leaving the EU on the 31st December. These measures include compliance with the GDPR when transferring personal data to the UK and are regardless of whether an adequacy agreement is reached by the beginning of 2021.
