EU publishes final text for Digital Markets Act

The Council of the European Union and the European Parliament have approved and published the final text of the provisional agreement for the Digital Markets Act. The final approval came with no additional changes following the last amended version of the DMA text on 18 April. The DMA's focus is to regulate competition in the EU digital marketplace and carries comparable obligations and references to the EU General Data Protection Regulation.
