GDPR harmonisation law trialogue negotiations begin

In a statement ahead of the first trilogue negotiation on the new procedural rules concerning the enforcement of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), newly appointed European Parliament rapporteur Markéta Gregorová expressed her commitment to data protection and finding common ground in both the Council and Parliament positions. Talks on the new harmonisation law began on Monday, 4 November 2024.
