The European Parliament Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs has called for improved enforcement of the EU GDPR and for DPAs to produce more materials to help implement the law. In an adopted draft resolution, the committee determined it was unnecessary to update the GDPR. However, it did express concern over the lack of resources at the disposal of DPAs for enforcement. Meanwhile, Ireland's Data Protection Commission published the communications it had with the LIBE Committee over the publication of two draft resolutions.
