McGrath discusses importance of EU AI Act, DMA, DSA, simplified GDPR

On Tuesday, the European Commissioner for Democracy, Justice, the Rule of Law and Consumer Protection, Michael McGrath, met members of the Committee on Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) to discuss the focus of current and future initiatives around digital fairness and enforcement along with a commitment to put forward the 2025–2030 Consumer Agenda later this year.
McGrath outlined the importance of the Digital Markets Act (DMA), the Digital Services Act (DSA) and the Artificial Intelligence Act (AI Act) while reiterating previous comments that the Commission will look at how to simplify the record-keeping requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
