MEPs discuss Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework during visit to US

During their visit to Washington, D.C., the delegation of seven MEPs and members of the Civil Liberties Committee (LIBE) met with legislative and administrative officials to discuss, amongst other things, the new EU-US Trans-Atlantic Data Privacy Framework. Committee Chair Juan Fernando López Aguilar said that the European Parliament "wants a robust, effective and data protection compliant system for international data flows that provides the adequate level of data protection for EU citizens."
