MEPs send letter o European Commission leaders over draft AI rules

Members of the European Parliament sent a letter to leaders of the European Commission on the leaked draft rules on artificial intelligence. While the MEPs are pleased to see the rules address surveillance concerns, the group also expressed concerns about portions of the draft that need to either be improved or removed completely. This follows a coalition of advocacy groups, led by European Digital Rights, who sent an open letter to commission leaders expressing their thoughts on the draft AI rules
