In an interview with Forbes, Jeff Truong, Partner at VMG Catalyst, discussed the impact of privacy on online advertising. While initiatives like Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework increased customer acquisition costs, they have also pushed marketers to experiment and adapt. Marketers have found positive results by "leaning into channels that enable them to own their data collection initiatives by gathering first-party data to personalise and enrich the customer journey."
