FPF report compares APAC region data protection requirements

A joint initiative between the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) and the Asian Business Law Institute has produced a report comparing the data processing requirements from 14 separate jurisdictions in the Asia-Pacific region. Josh Lee Kok Thong, APAC Managing Director for the FPF   said that the report gives "lawmakers, governments, and regulators who draft, review or implement data protection laws ... a comprehensive overview and analysis of notice, consent, and related requirements that operate in the data protection frameworks of their respective jurisdictions, regional partners and neighbours."
