Google explains its location privacy settings

Google has published a blog post clarifying information on settings and control available to users over the collection of their location data. The technology company says that it has spent recent years adding "more control and transparency directly into our products," and discusses specific actions it has taken, noting "we never sell your location data to advertisers" and users can control third-party sharing.
