UNICEF has published a manifesto establishing a vision for better global governance of children's data. In this IAPP article, UNICEF Consultant Emma Day breaks down the manifesto, the current global landscape around data governance for children and why global standards are needed for this area of data protection. Day writes, "It is important robust regulations are put in place to ensure when children's data is processed, it is done in their best interests and with due regard for their human rights."
