The attitude around data governance has improved since the GDPR came into effect. Despite this, a common challenge remains in how to embed a privacy culture across the workforce. The IAPP take a look at a study that measured the behaviour, attitude, perceived control, knowledge and culture from more than 3,000 anonymized and pseudonymized employee respondents. "A common misconception among data protection and chief privacy officers is that a culture of privacy is the conclusion of an awareness, education and training program only," they write. "It is not —, and this misconception should be a concern for any DPO or CPO."
