Twelve years ago, when Anna Zeiter, CIPP/E, CIPM, started her law career, she knew three things for certain. “I never wanted to work in privacy, I never wanted to work in-house, and I never wanted to work in Switzerland.” Today, Zeiter lives in Switzerland and is now the associate general counsel and chief privacy officer at eBay. Zeiter spoke with the IAPP about her evolution in privacy, why she felt she was at “the right time, at the right place,” leading the privacy efforts of a global e-commerce corporation and more.
