Proposition 24 passes in California, paving way for CPRA

While the US anxiously awaits the final vote tallies for the presidential election, several privacy-related propositions and referendums were also on a few state ballots. Most significantly, California's Proposition 24 has passed, paving the way for the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). The IAPP shares some early reactions from practitioners on what privacy pros should look out for and what effect the CPRA could have on other state and federal privacy legislation.
