The clock is ticking on Brexit adequacy decision

The Brexit transition period deadline is 31st December, which means there are less than two months for the EU and UK to reach a data adequacy decision to maintain data flows. Despite the two sides meeting regularly, no agreement has been made. This article looks at steps the two sides will have to take to solve the adequacy issue before the end of the year. The IAPP has added a Brexit Privacy Checklist to its resource centre for organisations as they prepare to handle data transfers after the Brexit deadline.
