The right to data portability seldom used under GDPR

An informal survey of independent law firms has found that of the many data subjects rights granted under the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the right to data portability is rarely used. This IAPP article looks at the developments and where data portability is headed. "The actual problem with data portability in its current form appears to be that it does not seem very useful or popular among data subjects, which we believe is evidenced by the lack of case law."
