Data protection essential for digital identity systems

Deputy Commissioner, Steve Wood, has posted a blog about the work the ICO is doing to provide regulatory advice on how the UK Government's digital identity and attributes trust framework should address data protection. Now that digital identity systems are beginning to come of age, steve explains that "inspiring trust and confidence in the public about how their personal data is used in a digital identity system is paramount."
