The Forum, which is made up of the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) and the Office of Communications (Ofcom) in July last year, aims to provide a more coherent, coordinated and clear regulatory approach. The 2021/22 workplan lays out a roadmap of how the DRCF will increase the scope and scale of their co-operation, such as pooling expertise and resources, working closely together over online regulation matters, and annual reporting.
