The deadline to submit comments to Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport's consultation on proposed data use and regulation reforms Data: a new direction closes on the 19th November. The reforms outlined by the DCMS emphasise further consideration of innovation, growth and threat prevention related to how personal data is used while also tailoring laws to enable those considerations. However, the reforms fall short of the high standard and protections we have become used to. This is the last opportunity to have your say.
