ICO calls for accountants to advise SMEs on Data Protection

In a blog article, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) is asking for accountancy firms representing smaller businesses to provide data protection support. The ICO revealed 34% of SMEs trust accountants' advice, with 20% already using them for information about data protection and GDPR. To support accountants, the ICO has provided a list of questions to ask SMEs about their data protection compliance.
